Five days out, the forecast feels generous.
There’s space in it. Room to imagine good decisions, clean timing, smooth passages. The numbers aren’t commitments yet — they’re suggestions. It’s easy to believe that if you pay attention early enough, you can shape what happens later.
This is where planning begins.
Long-range forecasts are useful, but they’re also narrative devices. They turn a wide field of possibilities into something that feels legible. The farther out the forecast, the more it reads like a story about the future rather than a description of it.
